In spite of the fact that many were asking things like 'Where are the strippers?" and "Why is he singing country songs?" Kid ROCK delivered last nite at Riverbend. Perfect mix of his tunes laid out in just the right order. The video open was funny and I'm sure the Waffle House folks are LOVING it....Highlights for me: American Bad Ass [although it was a clipped down version], Cowboy was GREAT and the Rev Run stuph was classic [although I'm pretty sure a goodly contingent of those there to see Skynyrd had a few choice words for that portion of the performance] - The pulled of 'It's Like That', 'It's Tricky' and more before Kid settled back into 'Kid Stuff' - - as I was heading toward the 96ROCK Mobile Concert Cabin I heard the strains of 'Cat Scratch Fever' in the distance [an obvious tribute to the original Motor City Madman] - Riverbend hasn't seen that kind of crowd [forget Buffett] in a long time....[take a minute to post your thoughts on the show if you were the ...
